Baja California Weather
It is back to winter this morning in many parts of the Baja peninsula. Today will be 3 to5 degrees F cooler today than last Friday as a Cold Front moved across Baja yesterday. There is another approaching High and associated Cold Front moving our way.Wind's in the Sea will be under 15kts from the WNW today but tomorrow evening we are expecting an increase to 25kts in the northern Sea and to 15kts in the southern Sea and building as that second cold front pushes ESE. The Pineapple Express that brought some precipitation to Baja Sur last week will break loose today and sun will become more prevalent as the day progresses. The blow from the WNW is forecast to build over the next 72hrs and winds may be above 25kts for 36hrs or more. Our SST map is animated today to show the warming trend along the southern coast of Mexico as well as the warmer waters are finally moving north into the Sea of Cortez.

Spring activities in Baja
By late February winter is drawing to a close in Baja California Sur and there is a plethora of outdoor activities available to both visitors and residents. Springtime offers some of the best weather to get out and explore Baja Sur. Our temperatures range from the upper 70s to low 80s and the Sea of Cortez is beginning to warm again.
